Senior Analyst, Operations Strategy & Analytics

JOB PURPOSE  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Operations Strategy & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute data driven strategies to improve collections performance and operational efficiency across Upbound Group’s consumer finance businesses. You will apply data science methodologies to include predictive modeling and pattern recognition in order to support strategic decision making and improve customer engagement. This role requires proficiency in SQL, Python, Redshift and other technologies along with significant experience working in the fintech industry.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections processes. 

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. 

• Write and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts, and Redshift data models. 

• Interpret and present data insights to senior management and stakeholders. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business strategy and analytics. 

• Advanced collections experience is preferred. 

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Redshift. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data at a high level. 

• Experience in the fintech industry is required. 

• Knowledge and experience with lease-to-own or sub-prime financial products is preferred 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
