JOB PURPOSE 

A Product Manager is a critical individual contributor who is a key leader with a Product Development team. They are the ultimate owner accountable for envisioning business needs, value, and final software product delivery to the businessAs the primary owner of a roadmap for the specific product(s) they are aligned to, they are responsible for the value and viability risk of software development. 

 

In this role, the PM will be responsible for leading the product vision and roadmap for the Acima Coworker experience with a focus on central operations tools (e.g., call center operations, collections, workflows, case management, service tooling) and to empower field staff in their day-to-day operations. This includes envisioning solutions that streamline internal processes, elevate user productivity, and create consistent, scalable experiences across the organization. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Envisions user and business needs and translates them into actionable strategies and roadmaps. 
  • Lead product strategy and roadmap development for internal tools serving Acima’s centralized and field operations teams 
  • Maintains business architecture - process flows, data flows, system and function integrity 
  • Develops a clear roadmap and look for ways to optimize the business and technical architecture 
  • Brings an outside-in view to accelerate innovation and make build vs buy decisions 
  • Runs cross-functional agile teams to deliver the final product 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on business outcomes related to operational efficiency, field enablement, and team effectiveness. 
  • Act as a thought leader and connector between central operations and field staff needs, ensuring product decisions support both scale and frontline empowerment. 
  • Regularly gather insights from Acima field teams and operations leads to ensure tools are intuitive, relevant, and support continuous performance improvement. 
  • Seeking out new opportunities for growth and improvement to the overall business technology offering.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering or relevant experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in software Product Management 
  • Organized and motivated individual with strong empathy and verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address product challenges and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding user needs and translating them into product features and improvements.
