Facility Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

 

Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the ACIMA corporate office and serves as primary contact for all facilities related concerns.  Position includes vendor procurement and management, space planning, coordinating with Human Resources in regards to Building Policy and Procedures and providing mail services for Acima.

Maintain facility in a manner that is safe, comfortable and efficient for all coworkers, vendors and visitors.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Space Planning
    • Develop creative solutions space planning solutions to avoid exceeding available capacity
    • Consult regularly with department heads and identify future staffing requirements to ensure adequate seating
    • Design, plan, procure vendors for, and manage furniture reconfiguration projects
  • Control expenses for ACIMA facility cost center
    • Refine and execute supply and refreshment ordering process to ensure cost effective supplies are stocked for coworkers in a timely manner
  • Manage vendors and suppliers
    • Review proposals and invoices, monitor performance of and manage day to day relationship
    • Work closely with Building Engineer to maintain the ACIMA suites to enhance comfort for coworkers
  • Plan and implement initiatives to enhance office efficiency using a variety of methods, i.e., conservation, reduction
  • Manage mail processes and UPS accounts for ACIMA facility and coworkers
  • Compose memos and notices for distribution to Acima coworkers
  • Respond to facility-related complaints or requests responsibly, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Manage the Emergency Planning for the ACIMA offices by creating and updating Emergency Action Plan and Active Shooter documents, assembling and training the Safety Team and Safety Committee and training coworkers on emergency processes
  • Keep leadership team apprised of facility conditions and challenges
  • Book travel and maintain executive calendar for Acima EVP

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least three years of prior facility management and administrative experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and apply constructive criticism and alternative perspectives.
  • Ability to assemble furniture and make minor/ temporary repairs if necessary.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to maintain professional and positive relationships with those around you
