Compliance Agent I

Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible for analyzing credit information, handling credit reporting inquiries, verifying and responding to credit disputes, investigating identity theft claims, and handling matters related to bankruptcy. The Analyst primarily communicates with customers via email and internal communication systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously are key to success in this role.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Respond to all credit reporting inquiries under the scope of established internal policies and procedures, and in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines.
Effectively manage credit reporting-related support requests and escalations.
Investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies.
Investigate claims from customers alleging fraud.
Monitor customer bankruptcy status and update leases accordingly.
Schedule and Hours:
Full-Time - 40 hours per week
Analysts should be available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 6 am to 5 pm for five, eight (8) hour shifts per week.
Compensation
Hourly wage $18 per hour or depending on experience
Requirements
2 years of Customer Service and Data Analysis preferred
Strong communication skills
Detail Oriented
Self Sufficient
General computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office
Typing speed of 40 WPM
Strong analytical and statistical abilities to review and assess large quantities of data and information
Time management skills
Ability to learn new skills and systems quickly, with regards to both internal and external systems.
